Should I initially call a restoration firm or my insurance provider?
Calling a restoration company to start services might actually quicken the claims process and prevent more damage to your house or place of business. Waiting around for a claims adjuster to arrive could result in irreparable property damage. You'll want to demonstrate to your insurance provider that you made a sincere effort to save your property.
